Hello Readers!
I started this blog to share my passion for all things health and nutrition. I also thought it would be fun to share life’s experiences with you on my journey to become a Registered Dietitian while living abroad!
In 2007 I moved from Townsville, Queensland, Australia to join the University of Northern Colorado Women’s basketball team and study Dietetics. Although my athletic career at UNC ended sooner than I had anticipated, I was already fully immersed in the Dietetics program at UNC and couldn’t imagine finishing my studies elsewhere. Sooo…
Four years later I graduated with my B.S in Dietetics and am currently completing my internship, one of the final steps to becoming a Registered Dietitian (RD).

Although I am no longer a competitive athlete, fitness has remained a big part of my life. There is nothing like a good heart pumpin’ workout to clear the mind and re-energize the body. You will also learn that I have a tremendous calling for frozen yogurt and m & m’s, but cannot go more than two days without a big serving of fresh produce
So join me as I navigate my way through another country, continue to develop my taste buds trying new eats (and of course treats!) while pursuing a career I am truly passionate about.
