I know Ikea stores are normally pretty big but this one was HUGGEEE! They had parking attendants, employees directing you every possible way, a big restaurant/cafe and a children’s center so parents could shop in peace. We were even given a map and pencil so we could write down the product code of something we liked along the way and then hand the paper to an employee when ready to check out and they would run around and locate everything. Kevin and I didn’t need to use this service as we only ended up buying a few plates, a wok, and a pizza cutter. Oh, and of course few blocks of chocolate made their way into the cart
Don’t think I can spend over an hour in a swedish store without trying ‘swiss’ chocolate!!
I am a big stir-fry lover. They are quick, easy and you can make them up on the spot by using pretty much any produce available in your fridge. Winning all round!
So tonight I tested out the new wok (can you believe it was only $4.99!?) and threw in a variety of produce I needed to use up which included:
pepper
I then cooked up some chicken and seasoned with a packet Maggi’s satay chicken.
Served over a small bed of rice, this dinner turned out mighty tasty and was ready to eat in no time at all.
